102 years ago, George Winston had a vision to start a business in the hopes of providing excellent plumbing services in the Erie area. In 1956, George was succeeded by his son Richard L. Winston, and in 1976 Richard G. “There have been many changes over the years, from the heavy cast iron pipe my granddad used, to the plastic pipe we use today,” Richard G. Winston says. “I am sure that there is more change coming that will require us to adapt in order to stay in business. Given the state of the economy, I am humbled and thankful that I can pay my bills and employ the staff that I do.”
