“How can we make you feel more beautiful today?” That's the question Debbie Karmazin and her eight hairdressers ask when you call On the Avenue Salon. The staff at On the Avenue are dedicated to bringing you the best in hair and salon services. “There is no such thing as giving you ordinary service with us,” Karmazin says. “We want you to feel extraordinary when you walk out of our salon.”

Karmazin has been a licensed hairdresser for 26 years. “I love what I do, and I love working in Erie,” she says. “Our community is great place to do business. It has that small-town feel that is so appealing to me.”

The hairstylists at On the Avenue all have a passion for the beauty industry. “We stay up-to-date on all the latest styles, trends and fashions by attending trade shows around the country,” Karmazin says. “It's important that we provide the styles of today to our customers.”

Karmazin and her friendly staff also offer services such as color, highlighting, perms, hot oil treatments, waxing and spa facials. But the salon doesn't just cater to women. “The whole family can get their hair cut here,” Karmazin says. “We do children's and men's haircuts as well. From back-to-school cuts to business cuts, we can do it all.”

The salon will even open up on Saturday mornings for wedding parties. “Everyone comes here on the morning of the big day to get all their salon needs taken care of,” Karmazin says. “We provide a great spot for brides and their bridal parties to relax before the big event.”

Karmazin also sells gifts in the salon, such as jewelry, purses, hair products and cosmetics. “A writer once called us the ‘in-place for a busy woman,'” she says. “We are your one-stop shop for helping you feel more beautiful.” “How can we make you feel more beautiful today?” That's the question Debbie Karmazin and her eight hairdressers ask when you call On the Avenue Salon.
