Charles Weiss and Jason Earley believe their business, Weiss- Earley Landscape Design & Contracting, is about three important characteristics: personality, creativity and knowledge of horticulture — especially the last.

Weiss and Earley attended college together at the State University of New York, receiving Bachelor of Science degrees in Horticulture and Associate degrees in Landscape Design.

They then went on to accumulate more than 20 years of experience in the landscape industry (which included Earley starting his own successful company) before teaming up together in 2009 to form WeissEarley Landscape Design. Since then, they have deliberately formed a staff that is as knowledgeable and experienced as themselves.

“We're not in this career by default,” says Weiss. “All of us consciously decided to make this our life's work. Many of our staff members have a degree in horticulture or some other related area, so our clients can be assured that we're bringing a vast amount of proficiency and knowledge to make their project a success.”

WeissEarley provides landscape design, installation, and maintenance services, as well as accent lighting for holidays, parties, and weddings, throughout northwestern Pennsylvania for both residential and commercial clients. WeissEarley goes a step beyond merely beautifying property with plants, trees, and flowers. They specialize in designing and contracting intricate projects such as decks, patios, swimming pools, and outdoor living rooms and kitchens complete with amenities such as saunas, fireplaces, bars, grills, or ovens.

“We believe that good design is a visual language,” says Earley. “We take plenty of time during the preliminary design process to consult with our clients about both the positive and negative aspects of the project to make sure it's one-of-a-kind.”

“Projects are successful when they meet the needs of the people using them,” adds Weiss. “Whether we are creating a beautiful outdoor kitchen or designing a simple foundation planting, our challenge is to express clear design knowledge. It's always about what is right for the job.”Charles Weiss and Jason Earley believe their business, Weiss- Earley Landscape Design & Contracting, is about three important characteristics: personality, creativity and knowledge of horticulture — especially the last.
